Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2009, Miriam Simms of Marysvale, aged 82 years. Predeceased by her husband William, son Harold, daughter Annie, parents Joseph and Elizabeth Lush, sister Liza, brothers William, Harry, James and Eric. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters Mildred (Robert), Carmelita (David), Marguerite (Bill); son Wayne; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; sister Mary Jane Lush. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Tuesday from 12-10 p.m., Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral to take place on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Snows Church, Marysvale with interment to follow in the R.C.
