It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Theresa MacLean, wife of the late Osborne Lewis MacLean. Born in Saint John on August 7th, 1927 she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Garey. Mary was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. She was actively involved with the Merchant Navy along with her husband Ossie. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were blessed to call her mother and nanny. She is survived by her five children; Gary, Judy (John Webber), Linda (Jim Snodgrass), Mike (Sally), Coleen Wilkins, grandchildren; Lisa, Jamie, Andrew, Peter, Tim, Matthew, Megan, Bryce, Aly, Amy, Tracy and great grandchildren; Lucus, Julia, Oliver, Charlie, Madison, MacKenzie, Landon, Dominic and Daniel. She was predeceased by her brothers Matthew Garey, Joe Garey, sisters, Dot Cole and Bertha Chisholm and great grand daughter Calla Webber and son-in-law Douglas Wilkins.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) A funeral service will be held at Fallsview Chapel on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 1:00pm. Interment in Cedar Hill Field of Honor Cemetery. Visiting at Fallsview on Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Following the interment a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to Hospice or Romero House or to a charity of donors choice.
