BROOKS, Tanya Jean – 36, Truro, passed away suddenly Monday, May 11, 2009 in Halifax. Tanya is survived by her mother, Constance “Connie” Brooks-Adams, Truro; father, Stanley Brooks Sr., Millbrook; children, Chelsey, Victor, Bryce, Shilo and Qualin Brooks; sister, Margaret Brooks (Gary Allison); brothers, Stanley Brooks Jr. (Candance Hutchinson) and Jason (Alisha) Brooks; extended siblings, Tamara, Adria and Garrett Gloade; biological father, Garry Gloade; step-father, Douglas Adams; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Tanya’s family will receive friends until 10 am Saturday, May 16, 2009. (Visitation will continue for 24 hours until Saturday at 10 am) Funeral mass will be held 11 am Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Church Road, Millbrook. Interment will be held at a later date. Reception and auction will follow in the Community Hall. Flowers welcome or a donation in Tanya’s memory to a charity of one’s choice are welcomed.
