Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, May 14, 2009, of Alwyn Compston of Charlottetown and formerly of Toronto, Ontario, age 75 years. Beloved husband of Wendy Compston (nee Bonner) and loving father of Dennis Compston (Anita) and Jeffrey D. Compston (Sarah). Alwyn will be sadly missed by his granddaughter, Alison Compston and sister, Edythe Drennan. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Sarah Compston. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Saturday, May 16, 10-11 a.m., followed by a family prayer service. Interment will take place in Sherwood Cemetery. Completion of funeral arrangements entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
