Wes Legrow of Harvey Station NB., formerly of Bauline NL. passed away peacefully at Ridgewood Veterans Wing, Saint John, NB. on June 10th, 2010. Wes was born in Bauline, NL. on May 31st, 1924 son of the late Henry and Lavina (Mercer) Legrow. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Wes will be sadly missed by his children: Joyce (Rod) MacKay of Ottawa, Ont., Lloyd (Margaret) of Edmonton, AB., Maxine Howard of Saint John, Beverly (Wolfgang) Wolfe of Comox, BC., Cathy (Darald) Legrow Haley of Barrie, Ont., brother Mark of Gander, NL. and his sister Laura (Bert) Butler of Bauline, NL. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) with visitation on Tuesday, June 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will be held at 7:00 on Tuesday as well. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment will be take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by his family.
