It is with great sadness that the family of the late ROBERT M. LUNDRIGAN of Burin announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday June 4 at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by wife Martha; parents Michael & Victoria Lundrigan; son Levi Lundrigan; daughters Carolanne Mayo and Christine Lundrigan; sister Rita Hodder; brothers Mike Lundrigan and Leonard Lundrigan; grandchildren Crystal Lundrigan and Sandra Lundrigan; great-grandchild Stefan Spencer.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Dennis Lundrigan (Sandra Martin) and George (Eleanor) Lundrigan, both of Burin; daughters Marie (Winston) Boyd of St. Augustine, Florida, Margaret (Daniel) Teed of Sackville, NS, Matilda Hollett of Lewin's Cove, Isabelle Lundrigan (Frank Brinston) of Burin; daughter-in-law Barbara Lundrigan of Burin; sisters Vicki Sober of Salmonier, Marion Lundrigan of Burin, Kay Bond and Rose Lundrigan, both of Nova Scotia; brothers Eric Lundrigan of Black Duck Cove and Bill Lundrigan of Nova Scotia; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Funeral Mass took place at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Burin on Monday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. Internment followed at Sacred Heart R. C. Cemetery in Marystown. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
