Mary D. McPherson, 72 of Medway, formerly of Watertown, died May 24, 2010, at home.
Born in Glace Bay, N.S., on May 17, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Amy (Allison) McPherson.
Mary moved to United States at the age of 18, living in Watertown for most of her life, prior to moving to Medway, seven years ago. She had been a nurse at the Emerson Convalescent Home in Watertown for 37 years before her retirement.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Bill) Kingsbury, Medway. She is also survived by her sisters, Mildred, Winnifred, Geraldine, Martina (Clarence) McGraw, Rose MacLeod, Sydney, Anne Marie (John) Cobb; grandchildren, Ryan, Kimberly and Kristin Kingsbury; nieces and nephews and a special uncle, John Allison.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Sheila and Shirley.
Burial will b held at St. Eugene Church, Dominion, June 21, 2010 at 2 p.m.
