Robert Cooper, 88, of Golden Years Estates and formerly of Church St., passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Wilkinson) Cooper. Robert was a retired businessman in Moncton. He served during WWII in the Army Service Corp, was a member of Moncton Legion Branch #6 and the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. Robert had a wonderful sense of humour, was always smiling and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robert will be sadly missed by his wife of over 60 years, Alice (Case); son, Robert A. Cooper, Moncton; daughter, Susan L. Carlyle (David), BC; grandchildren, Lindsey Cooper, Lea Carlyle, Shelley Wolff (Devin); great grandchildren, Hayden and Jordyn Wolff. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Albert and sister, Gladys Morton.
In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Private graveside service to be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
