The death of Lyle Gladwin Case occurred at his home in Halifax, N.S. on Friday, June 18, 2010. Formerly of Saint John, Lyle was born in Kitchener, Ontario May 4, 1955, and resided between 1970 and 1974 in Saint John. Lyle served with the Navy from 1973 to 1978 primarily on HMCS Athabaskan. Lyle is survived by his partner of 36 years Phyllis Sperry of Halifax, brothers Stephen (Linda) of Bangkok Thailand, Randy (Chantal) of Saint John, Donovan (Heather) of Quispamsis, several nieces and one nephew. Lyle is predeceased by his parents, Lyle E. Case and Annagrace W. Case, and one sister Melanie W. Case.
A memorial service is being held for the family in Halifax. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
