Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on May 14th, 2009, Douglas Mercer, age 76 Years. Predeceased by his parents William Robert and Helena Mercerand brother Weldon. Left with loving memories are his wife Elaine of Gander, son Wayne (Theresa) of Ottawa, ON., daughter Deborah (Patrick) Mahoney of Ardoise, NS.; brother Lewis (Sylvia) of Blaketown; sister Elizabeth (Melvin) Butt of Corner Brook; grandchildren Jennifer (Rick) Petraki, Braden, Kimberley, Scott. Also a large circleof brothers and sisters-in-law, family and friends. A special thank you to sister-in-law Joyce Reid who helped care for him.
