Passed peacefully away on May 14, 2009 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father and mother, Francis and Shirley Crane, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law James and Marjorie Strong of Little Bay Islands. Leaving to mourn her husband and best friend Haddon; four children: Jason, Christine (Edward Drover), Aileen (Steve Woodman), and Mark; two grandchildren: Shannon and Isaac; sisters: Cindy (Phil Ruiter), Sandra (Mike Merker), Judy (Bruce Moores); brother and sisters-in-law: Carolyn (Robin Molson, deceased), Bill Strong (Pansy), Barb (Dave Pederson), Ted Strong (Lynda), Gerry Strong (Shari) and special friends Barb and John Hennessey, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers at CRA. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at PCU, Miller Centre and Rev. Jean Smith. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home in Kelligrews, CBS on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday from 10-12 noon.
