FORD, Ralph– Passed peacefully at the D.V.A. Caribou Pavilion, St. John’s on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, Ralph Ford formerly of Winterton, age 89 years, Veteran Royal Navy WW II. Predeceased by wife Florence 1999. Leaving to mourn three sons: Wayne (Gloria), Heart’s Delight, Franklin (Denise), Fort MacMurray, AB, Gary (Laura), Dapp, AB; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Curtis (Claire), Fogo Island, Humphrey (Jean), Corner Brook; one sister Janet (Ed Decker), Loon Bay; one sister-in-law Elizabeth Green, Winterton. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Friday 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Trinity United Church, Winterton.
