Theresa Regis LeLievre, formerly of Sydney, N.S., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the Bow View Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Clovis in 1984, her three sisters, Annie, Alice and Stella, three brothers, Tommy, Richard and William.
Theresa is survived by her four daughters, Donna Whitehead, Lois Russell, Sharon Dulley, Deborah Wotton; and her son, Lawrence. She is also survived by her brother, Cyril Holland, Toronto, Ont.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as her loving friend and caregiver for many years, Maria Benz.
Theresa’s biggest passion in her life was her family. She enjoyed dancing, singing and playing the harmonica. Theresa was very involved in the church, the Altar Society, and was a member of the Elks Club where she was an avid champion dart player. She will be sadly missed.
