The death of Marie (Totten) (Harwood) Floyd of Barnesville, widow of Lawrence Floyd occurred June 26, 2010 at Kennebec Manor, Saint John. She was born in Grove Hill, daughter of the late Robert and Pearl (Ellis) Totten. Marie was a member of Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist Church and served on boards and committees over the years. She is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Price (Neil), Barnesville, Judy Mooers (Larry), Moncton, Cheryl Sweet (Raymond), St. Martins, Gloria Floyd, Barnesville; two sisters, Frances Smith, Nauwigewauk and BC, Evelyn Brown, Hampton; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by infant twins; four sisters, Muriel O'Dell, Violet Peterson, Hazel Cummings and Eunice Floyd; and two brothers, Warren and Elmer Totten.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, (506) 832-5541, with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral will be held Wednesday, 2 PM, at Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
