It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rowena Francis announce her sudden passing at her family residence on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the age of 62 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her daughter, Donna Francis (Paul); her grandchildren: Haley, Brandon and Hunter; her siblings: Carrie (Cliff) Coffin, Cecil (Dorothy) Allen, James Allen, Edward Allen, Robert Allen, Don (Valerie) Allen and Keith Allen. She is predeceased by her daughter, Dena (2008); her parents, Emily (2002) and Llewlyn (1964) Allen; her brother, Arch Allen; and sister-in-law, Florence Allen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
