Mrs. Moore and her late husband Clarence were partners in various businesses in Trinity and Conception Bays since 1941, and were co-founders of Moore's Funeral Homes and Ambulance Service Ltd.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her parents: William H. and Dinah Pond Elms, Bay Roberts; brothers: William K. (Marion), Country Road; Clement, Gander; Herman, Bay Roberts; Clarence, Harbour Grace and grandson Matthew Reid.
Cherishing her memory are her children: Clarice, Alice, Beatrice (Max) Ruelokke, Clarence (Rusty) (JoAnn), Sheila and Carl (Lisa); her grandchildren: Karl (Kimberley) Ruelokke, Amanda (Shawn) Pendergast, Ingrid Ruelokke (Sean Murphy), Adam (Meaghon) Reid, Nicholas Blundon, Daniel and Marcus Moore; her great-grandchildren: Christopher, Darby and Adia Pendergast, Makenna Ruelokke and her two great-grandchildren to be.
Fondly remembered by her brother Lorne (Eileen) Elms, Gander; sisters-in-law: Eileen Elms, Gander and Winifred Elms, Harbour Grace, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends, especially at Callingwood Downs Seniors Complex.
Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 - 12 Noon; 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and Friday 10 - 12 Noon.
Funeral Services will be held at Clarke's Beach United Church and Cemetery on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. with the Rev'd Dr. Gerald Benson officiating. A reception will follow at the Clarke's Beach Town Hall.
