The death of Jocelyn Dawn Joyce, 47, of Memramcook and formerly of Melrose, NB, occurred at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Friday, July 2, 2010. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late John and Gwen (Helm) Joyce.
Jocelyn will be greatly missed as she was loved by all her family and friends.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary (Brian) Anderson and Marilyn (Bernie) LeBlanc; eight brothers, Curtis (Shirley), John (Kim), Wally (Sue), Michael, Robert, Charles (Joanne), Jimmy, and Eugene; a sister-in-law, Juanita; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she is predeceased by three brothers, Brian, Richard and Donald, as well as one sister Joan.
Jocelyn's remains have been cremated under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation will be held 7-9 pm, Tuesday, July 6, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11 am from Domaine La Vallee, Memramcook, on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. The family will attend a private burial in Melrose following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Colchester SPCA.
