Lucille Bourque of Moncton (formerly of St-Joseph, Memramcook) passed away peacefully, in her sleep, after 14 days in a coma at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the age of 93. She loved life and clung to it until "she" decided it was time to go. Born on January 7, 1917 in La Montain, Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Oscar LeBlanc and the late Sara Leger. During World War II, she got on the train with some of her sisters and headed to Oshawa, ON and worked in an ammunition factory to support the war effort. She worked for an advertising production plant in Montreal for 25 years until her retirement. She is survived by her son Louis (Cheryl Ann Camus) Bourque of Dorval, QC and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her six sisters, Anise, Florence, Marguerite, Euphemie, Juliette and Marie and by three brothers, Reginald, Adolphe and Jules. Lucille requested that there would be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The family would like to thank all those wonderful nurses and aides at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont hospital who tended to her needs with such warmth and compassion.
