Shirley E. Comeau, 84, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, with her loving husband by her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Born in Yarmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha (Beals) Warner. Shirley worked as a legal secretary in Yarmouth and Moncton, attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, was a former member of the CWL in Yarmouth and cherished spending time with friends and family. Shirley will be sadly missed by her husband of 44years, Irenee L. Comeau, Moncton; nieces and nephews, Andre, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Marilla, Colette, Warner and Craig; 14 grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters and brothers.
In honouring Shirley's wishes, no visitation hours. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, Thursday, July 8, 2010, 9:30am. Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception in the Parish Hall following the mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), in care of arrangements.
