(March 25, 1939 - July 3, 2010) - The passing of Raider Andersen of New Denmark, NB occurred on July 3, 2010 at the Grand Falls General Hospital at the age of 71. Born in New Denmark, NB, he was the son of the late Gunnar and Martha Andersen. Raider is survived by his sisters Gloria Jenkins and Sonja Taylor; brother Jim Andersen; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Pearl Jones and Randi Andersen; brothers Gerald and Gunnar Andersen.
In accordance to Raider's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A grave side service will be held at a later date in August 2010 along with his sisters Pearl Jones deceased September 4, 2009 and Randi Andersen March 26, 2010 in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark.
