(1938-2010) - Richibouctou-Village, NB - Fernand Richard 71 of Foyer Yvonnise, St. Anne de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on July 6th, 2010. Born in Richibouctou-Village he was the son of the late Freddy and Marie (Allain) Richard. Before retiring, he worked for many years at Laurentide, Richibucto. Fernand enjoyed playing Bingo and was a loving father and grandfather.
Fernand will be sadly missed by his daughter Diane Richard (Paul) of Richibouctou-Village, son; Mario Richard (Murielle) of Richibouctou-Village, three; grandchildren; Gabriel, Lanie and Luc, two sisters; Rita Leger (Gerald) of Richibucto, Ginette Martineau (Bernard) of Salem, MASS, four brothers; Sylvio Richard (Annise) of Richibouctou-Village, Raymond Richard of Bouctouche, Rosario Richard (Marie) of Richibouctou-Village, Jean-Claude Richard of Bouctouche and many nieces and nephews.
Fernand was predeceased by his wife Leoline (Lynn) (Robichaud) Richard, one sister; Lucille and one brother; Omer.
Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Thursday at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
