Oliva Robichaud-Allain (née Richard)(1931-2010)
Richibucto, NB - Oliva Robichaud-Allain of Richibucto, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, on July 6th, 2010 after a brief illness. Born in Ste. Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Osias and Marguerite (Girouard) Richard. Oliva will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Dorice Gauvin (Norman) of Moncton, Jeanne Warren (James) of Rexton, four sons; Yvon Robichaud (Kathy) of Toronto, Ontario, Richard Robichaud (Marthe) of Moncton, Paul Robichaud of South Branch, and Normand Robichaud of Rexton, ten grandchildren, 11 great grand children, three sisters; Jeanne Mance (Ivan) of Montreal, Rosa Légère (Alban) of Ste. Anne-de-Kent, Juliette Daigle (Yvon) of Ste. Anne-de-Kent, one brother Arthur Richard (Germaine) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Oliva was predeceased by her first husband; Joachim Robichaud, second husband; Oscar Allain, one daughter; Linda Robichaud in infancy, four sisters; Maria, Irene, Rita, Géraldine, four brothers; Joseph, Ola, Alvin, René. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 7 to 9, and Friday at 11:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 9th, 2010 at 1:30 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
