January 13, 1926 - July 4, 2010. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a short battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by husband William (July 1990), brother Jack, sisters: Grace, Minnie, Mabel, Bess, Gladys and Eva. Left with fond and loving memories and to celebrate her life are fourteen children: John (Edwina), Beverly (Glenn Barter), Darlene, Glenys (Raphael Oates), Billy (Marie), David (Cindy), Robert (Sharon), Armand (Mary), Norma (Loyola Mulcahy), Sheryl, Brenda, Aubrey (Mary Jane), Scott (Shannon), Thora; twenty-six grandchildren: Cherie (Wayne), Ricky (Melissa), Rosanne (Keith), Glenda (Alan), Wanda (Harry), Valerie (Charlie), Kristen (Sean), Kurt, Shannon (Harold), Chad (Charlene), Lorna (Paul), Leslie (Kevin), Lana (Vince), Adam, Kirby Lynn, William, Tyler, Danielle, Robin, Nathan (Jennifer), Brianna, Brant (Maggie), Gillian (Joe), Colin, Travis and Cameron; nine great-grandchildren: Liliana, Kirsten, Rebecca, Carson, Cole, Kala, Markus, Alyssa and Sophie; sister Jane (Errol Weir); brother Seymour Rice (Lillian); sister-in-law Gertrude Drew; special friends: Josephine Tucker, Paula Williams and her card buddies in Goulds and Witless Bay Seniors Clubs and her feline friend Kintin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation Monday, July 5th from 2-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 6th from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place Wednesday, July 7th, 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Bay Bulls.
