The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, of Jack Hipperson, of Charlottetown age 88 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Loving father of Judy (Ken) Campbell, North River; and Rick (Gail), Edmonton, Alberta. Special grandfather of Jo-Ann Campbell-Boutilier (Dean), Charlottetown; Stephen Campbell, Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Ian Hipperson, Edmonton, Alberta. Much loved great-grandfather of Ava and Bianca Boutilier, Charlottetown.
Survived by his brother, George (Addie), Australia. Loving uncle of Gail (Alan) Brady, Stratford; and Leta (Sydney) Carter, Pownal. Predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Bert; and by his brothers, Jock and Ray; and sisters, Florence and Phyllis of Australia.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral service from St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
