Marjorie Helen Robinson, loving wife of Russell Robinson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 8, 1920 in Campbellton, NB she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marguerite Sunderland.
Marjorie will always be remembered for her wit, charm, for her love and kindness she showed everyone especially to her husband, children and grandchildren, and always being there for them. She loved music, having sung in several choirs over the years, loved to travel but most of all being together with her family.
Besides her loving husband Russell of 61 years, she is survived by her sons Bill Robinson of Saint John and Peter Robinson of California; daughter Dianne Maloney (Bob) of Saint John; grandchildren David Maloney, Patrick Maloney (Tricia), Sarah Maloney, Taylor Robinson and Jennifer Robinson; brother Lewis Sunderland of London, ON; sisters Janet Beers of Kingston, ON, Phyllis Boyle of Saint John and Eileen Belyea of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son David and sister Dorothy Birch.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Saturday, July 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the funeral home.
