Tony E. McDuff, 50, of Monarch Hall, Riverview and formerly of Jack Pine Court, Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 9, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Edmond and Anne (Urquhart) McDuff. Tony was formerly employed with School District 2 as a Conveyance Driver, he loved socializing with friends, was a "social butterfly", enjoyed travelling, camping, hunting, the great outdoors, he was very generous and giving but first and foremost, he enjoyed spending precious time with his family. Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wife of over 24 years, Kim (Mullin) McDuff, Moncton; sister, Katherine Cormier (John), Moncton; brothers, Jason (Christa), Irishtown; Lawrence "Larry" and Michael, both of Moncton; mother in law, Marion Mullin, Moncton; sisters in law, Rosalyn and Karen; brother in law, Don; four legged companion, Max; several loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Daniel "Danny" (Nov. 2008) and father in law, Don Mullin (Mar. 2004).
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of 4600 at the Moncton Hospital and the staff of Monarch Hall for the love and excellent care given to Tony during his stay. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday 6 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 10:30am. Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In Tony's memory, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital or Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at
