Sunshine

The sun will rise tomorrow,
as it sets another day,
I'll try to keep the thunder
and all the rain clouds away.

The sky floods with darkness,
all the stars begin to climb,
I wish I could love you forever,
in this endless sea of time.

Then the wind, it took me,
to places it will roam,
the breeze was thoughts of you,
I simply cried alone.

Then it finally happened,
and the wind turned around,
it took me back to you,
and gently lay me down.

I stared at you for hours,
as you laid next to me,
I will love you forever,
as long as that will be.

The sun will shine tomorrow,
but it shines on me today,
so come and let me hold you,
till the wind takes me away...
