Piche - Therese (Terry) age 77 of Ponteix, SK passed away on July 9, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born June 5, 1933 in Ponteix to Emile and Maria Campeau. She attended school at Notre Dame Convent, Ponteix Public School and Sacred Heart Academy in Regina, SK. On June 17, 1958 she married Roger Piche of Ponteix, SK. They were blessed with 3 children: Steven in 1966, Lori in 1967 and Rochelle in 1972. Terry worked as a bookkeeper and secretary at Ashdown in Regina, SK, Larochelle Garage in Ponteix, SK and the Notre Dame d'Auvergne Parish Office. She was a member of the CWL (Catholic Women's League) and volunteered her time at the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home helping the residents during their weekly bingo games. Terry enjoyed sports, particularly golf, and spent many hours watching sports on tv with her husband. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren, playing cards and games and hanging out at the cabin at Gouverneur Dam. Terry had a great sense of humor and a real zest for life. She was a kind, gentle soul. Terry leaves to mourn her son Steven (Lola) of Saskatoon, SK, her daughters Lori Kendall of Ponteix, SK and Rochelle (Sean) Finell of Swift Current, SK; her grandchildren Celine and Monique Piche, Misti, T.J., Dustin and Sara Kendall, Connor and Kristin Finell; her brother Ernest Campeau of Ponteix, SK and her sister Cecile Campeau of Regina, SK; numerous nephews, nieces, and in-laws. She is pre-deceased by her mother and father Emile and Maria Campeau, her brother Fernand, her sister Rose, her husband Roger Piche and her son-in-law Travis Kendall. The funeral mass was held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Notre Dame d'Auvergne Church in Ponteix, SK with Father Raymond Carignan officiating. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home in Ponteix, SK. Lemieux Funeral Home, Ponteix, SK were entrusted with the arrangements.
