It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Phyllis Maxine McGarrigle, wife of the late Arthur W. McGarrigle of Fredericton, NB which occurred on July 11th, 2010 at her home. Born in Milltown, NB on August 3rd, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Eva (Hamilton) Matheson. Phyllis enjoyed puttering in the yard, her dogs and especially visiting with family and friends.
Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Dan) Skultety, of Fredericton and Mary Jane (Barry) Russell, of Weldon; three grandchildren, Anneke, Alina and Arthur Russell; two great-grandchildren, Benjermin Mahar, Kali Russell and an expected grandchild which is due on her birthday; sister, Myrtle Madsen of Milltown; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
For those able to join us, a Memorial Service will be held at Saint Peters Anglican Church, Church Street, Milltown-St. Stephen on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 at 1pm with nephew, Cannon John Matheson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Stephen Catholic Church Cemetery immediately following the Service. For those who can't be with us, we will be in each others thoughts and prayers.
