The death of Gaylon Henry Crain of Piercemont occurred on Monday, July 12th, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born June 15th, 1941 in Piercemont, the son of the late Bill and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain and husband of the late Alice (Broad) Crain.
Gaylon is survived by his three daughters, Beverly McSheffery (Jerry), Gail McSheffery (Anthony) and Robin Smith (Wayne); seven grandchildren, Garrett, Whitney, Dillon, Lucas, Emily, Taylor and Ross; special friend, Alene Steeves; six brothers, Wavel (Dianne), Hilton (Vilo), Charles, Hugh John (Terri), David (Sharon) and Clifford (Eileen); five sisters, Shirley Clowater, Alta Wright (Russ), Connie Flemming (Bob), Lorraine Hoyt (Bruce) and Andria Lint (Roy); and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Alice; four brothers, Duncan, Larry, Donnie and Earl.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd., Florenceville on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 16th, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Rick Murray officiating. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery. Donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund or the Mineral Cemetery would be appreciated.
