Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2009 of Mr. George Flanagan of Moreau Drive, Charlottetown, age 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Brun) Flanagan and dear father of Bernie (Kathy), Ken (Charlene) and Chris (Heather). He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren: Tyler, Jeff, Erin, Kenny, Kyle, Josh and Michelle; sisters, Pat Murphy, Kay Roach, Pauline (Jack) MacLellan and Dottie (Butch) Ward; sisters-in-law, Shirley Flanagan, Gloria (Gary) Snow and Anne (Dave) Snow; brothers-in-law, Archie Bristol and Danny (Patsy) Brun. He was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Sarah (nee MacLeod) Flanagan; brothers, Reginald Jr., Ted, Jack, Jim and Dennis, and sisters, Margaret, Gertrude, Barbara, Gracie and Gail. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home where a private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
