WILLIS, John Henry Jr "Buzz" - age 60, of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully with his loving partner Jo at his side on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Born in Truro, he was a son of John Sr and Helen (Hamilton) Willis. He fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Determined to live the last of his life not controlled by his sickness, he did it his way, always upbeat and maintaining his sense of humour. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay; son Cody; and his loving partner Jo Masi all of Calgary, Alberta; sister Jill (William Brushett) Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia; and brother Glenn (Paula Wadden) Toronto, Ontario. He had been employed with Norampac for 19 years until his retirement.
The Rolling Stones has lost one of their greatest fans. He was an avid sports lover especially hockey and loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed the company of his friends and though he will be missed by all, he wanted to be remembered with a laugh and a toast in his honor. No visitation by request. Cremation has already taken place. The committal will be a private family affair.
