The death of Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" Mary (McGinnis) Campbell, loving wife of 54 years to John "Jack" S. Campbell occurred peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home on July 15, 2010. Born in Saint John on August 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary "Molly" (Power) McGinnis. Ginny was a member of RCL #69. She is survived by her husband Jack, three sons, Bob Campbell of Grande Prairie, Jim Campbell of Vancouver, and Chris Campbell of New York, two daughters; Betty Campbell of Vancouver, and Colleen (Alan) Gallant of Saint John, five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Gerry McGinnis.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Ginny to the Rocmaura Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
