Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni on May 20th, 2009. Born 1908. Marguerite was the daughter of the late Richard and Nora (Travers) Murphy of Southside Road. Predeceased by sisters Teresa Dawson and Bride, brother Victor. Leaving to mourn nephew: Victor Dawson (Olive), their children Ronald, Patrick, Brian and Monique; niece Pamela Paruch and son Milo; grandnieces and grandnephews; special friends Magdalene Brien, Carol Reade and Mary Short; cousin Sandra Cole, whom she shared the last years of her life; special cousins of the Murphy, Crane, Whittle, Tarrant and Dinn families. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Escasoni for their care and compassion.
