Lois I. Stuart, 73, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Irene MacDonald.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lois will be sadly missed by her only son, Kevin Stuart; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Stuart; and her only grandchild Justin Stuart. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Coleman Stuart (November 1993).
In honoring Lois' wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. On Sunday, July 18, 2010, there will be visitation at the home of her son, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, for immediate family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vardy, Dr. Mansfield and the Palliative Care Teams of the Moncton City Hospital for their efforts and dedication to make Lois and her family comfortable through this difficult time. Her family would also wish to thank friends and other family members for their support and kindness.
Donations in Lois' memory to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
