Clarence Richard "Ricky" Ehler age 51 of Greenvale Rd., MacPherson's Mills passed away July 17, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was the son of the late Clarence and Marguerite (Kirkwood) Ehler.
Ricky was a longtime resident of MacPherson's Mills. He was employed for a number of years with Alva Construction.
He is survived by his wife the former Arden Park, daughters Marsha Ehler (Tom Buffett), Westville; Amy Ehler (Jason Chapman), New Glasgow; Amanda Ehler, MacPherson's Mills; Natalie Ehler (Tyler Smith), MacPherson's Mills; granddaughters Bryden and Hannah; sisters Peggy (Kelvin) Brannon, Stellarton; Dorrie (Gordon) Johnson, MacPherson's Mills; Brenda (Mickey) Joyce, Westville; Janet (Jamie) MacKinnon, MacPherson's Mills; mother and father-in law Alex and Shirley Park; sisters and brothers-in law, Sherri MacLeod (Herbie), Kirby (Karen) Park, Brenda Park MacLean and Blair Park (Dawn); all of Park's Falls; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister in-law Anita McLean and brother in-law Keith Maclean
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday in Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Burial will be in MacPherson's Mills Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ricky may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society.
