The death of Sadie Marie Casey, formerly of Geary, New Brunswick occurred on July 22nd, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born September 11th, 1926 in Grand Falls, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Annie (Michaud) Pelletier and wife to the late Edward Casey.
Sadie is survived by her children, Robert Casey (Kim Phillips) of Geary, NB and Brenda Casey (Gary Humby) of Rusagonis, NB; grandchildren, Kelly Rose Murray, Kevin Murray (Esther), Todd (Sandy Hayes), Josh, Matthew, Alisha, Courtney and Ty; great-grandchildren, Keshia Murray, Shayle Murray, Ethan Murray, Emily Murray, Jonathan and Jenna; son-in-law, Alfred Murray; daughters-in-law, Crys, Donna and Paula (and her daughter, Emmy); siblings, Elsie Michaud and Jeannette Pelletier as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; her parents; her children, Juliette, Suzanne, Jean-Paul and Cecile and two siblings, Cyr Pelletier and Marie Rossignol.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm and Sunday, July 25th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, July 26th, 2010 at 11:00 am with Fr. Ken Weir as celebrant.
