The passing of Edward A. Nowlan of Fredericton occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 25th, 2010. He was 74. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, he was a son of the late Lorne and Ethel (McKay) Nowlan. United by faith, Ed worked as a Car Salesman until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan, loving Harness Racing and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Survived by his children Fred (Mary), Timmy (Shawn) all of Miramichi, Sandra Guth (Ben) of Holland, Scott Dewolfe (Jennifer) of Fredericton, and Andrew Dewolfe (Shauna) of Hamilton; sisters Doris Brown of Moncton, Linda MacAllister (Ken) of Grand Lake; brothers Ossie Nowlan (Nina) of Chatham, Laurie Nowlan of Miramichi; special companion Jean Long of Fredericton; 7 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Billy Nowlan.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road where visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at 2 PM from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at a later date following cremation.
