(1952-2009): As the result of a tragic industrial accident on Friday, May 22, 2009, a gentle soul has entered into eternal rest. Predeceased by his parents, Cyril & Irene Connors, brother, Michael, brother-in-law, Joseph Flaherty. Left with fond and loving memories are his partner of 18 years, Betty Mason, his step daughter, Lisa (Geoff), his siblings: Lillian Walsh, Mary Flaherty, John (Kelly), Anne (John) Connors, Bill (Rose), Paul (Helen), Cyril (Elaine), Jean (George) Flaherty, Rick (June), Gary (Glenda), and two special god-children: Calvin & Jessica, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, his extended family, the Masons, his brother knights of Cabot Assembly and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 with 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
