Passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 23, 2009. Mabel Noseworthy of Mt. Pearl, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her son: Ervin (Aug. 26, 1972); son-in-law: David Eales and her life-long friend: Margaret Chaytor (May 20, 2009)). Leaving to mourn daughters: Shirley Eales, Louise (Dave Soper); sons: Ed (Pat), Clyde, Andrew (Barb); sisters: Bertha Rowe (Masonic Park), Vera Stanford (Carbonear), Jennie Rawnsley (Massachusetts); brother: Harold Thistle (New Hampshire); five special grandchildren: Wanda, Deana, Robert, Ed and Joanna; three great-grandchildren: David, Roland and Clare; special friends: Faith and Lew Power, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Monday, May 25th and Tuesday, May 26th from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave. Cremation will follow funeral service.
