PITFIELD: Mary Lynn of Swift Current, SK passed away at her residence on July 8, 2010. A Prayer Service was held in the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 7:00 PM with Pastoral Ministry Associate Eileen Zinn officiating. The Funeral Mass was conducted Saturday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Christ The Redeemer Roman Catholic Church with Father Sathiadas Antony and Father Raymond Carignan as celebrants. The readers were Muriel Nielson and Vivian Bosch, Intentions were presented by Colleen Roberts and music & song was provided by Joanne Monette, Peggy Marxhall and members of Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church Choir. The pallbearers were Robert Laverdiere, Robert Perron, Lucien Monette, Daryl Berggren, John Berggren and Misty Ann Dowkes. The interment service took place at the Mount Pleasant Burial Park, Swift Current, SK. The deceased is survived by a sister Ann (Bruce) Roger of Enniskillen, Ontario and two brothers: Morgan Pitfied and Bill (Diane) Pitfield of Kellarney, Ontario. Lynn was born August 1, 1947 in Toronto, Ontario and was adopted by the Pittfield family of Killarney, Ontario at the age of three and one half years. She grew up and attended school in this isolated community, then moved to Thunderbay, Ontario. She then moved further west, where she served in Catholic Parishes in Maple Creek, Ponteix, Lac Pelletier and Swift Current. SK. For many years she was the caregiver for Monsignor Lionel Mondor in Swift Current, Sk. She was very devoted to her church communities and to Camp Lemieux in the Lac Pelletier area.
