Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center, Gander on July 25th, 2010, with her family at her side, Bernadette Gallahue, age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband, Alphonsus Gallahue; parents Martin and Sarah Power; brothers Mike, Ambrose and Gus; sisters Lucy, Mary, Anne, Sadie and Dorothy. Left with loving memories are her sons Gus (Rosalind), Tom (Kathleen) Gallahue , daughters Vera (Wayne) Stott , Sadie (Glen) Cooper . Grandchildren Sean, Laurie, Christopher and Jayson Gallahue; Jodi (Matthew Brake) and Michele Cooper; great grandson Patrick Brake, as well as sister, Theresa Maloney and sister-in-law Nora Dwyer. Also, a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral Mass, was held Wednesday July 28th at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
