Passed away on July 23, 2010 at the Central NL Regional Health Centre, Sophie Maud Cooper. She was 94 years of age. Predeceased by husband, Walter Cooper; brothers, William (Olive), Regional (Rose), Eugene (Dorothy), Frederick (Joyce), Victor (Elsie), Edwin; sisters, Elsie & Dorothy. Left to mourn are stepson, Maxwell (Jeanette) Walker of Bishop's Falls; sister, Annette Penwell; special niece & caregiver, Joan Cooke; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Marie Hollet conducted funeral services at Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor on July 25, 2010. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Botwood. Pallbearers were Glenn Cooke, Roger Eastman, David White, Harvey White, Christopher White, and Calvin White. Honorary Pallbearers were Pastor Edwin & Sandra White.
