Passed peacefully away on Monday, July 26, 2010, age 79 years, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary Murphy; his sister Lydia (Joe) Squires and brother James. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years, Catherine (nee O'Brien); sons: Richard, Jim (Brenda), David (Fay), Eugene (Corinne); daughter Marina (Greg); seven grandchildren: Matthew, Tristan, Gabrielle, Shealyn, Benjamin, Liam and Cameron. Also lovingly remembered by his brothers: John and Stan (Dorothy); his sister Theresa Joyce; sister-in-law Rose (Ron) Battcock and brother-in-law Peter O'Brien, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday, July 27 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, July 28 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 29 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul's Church, Newfoundland Drive.
