The death of Evelyn R. Lenentine of Saint John, wife of Raymond Lenentine occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 following a brief illness. She was born in Mill Village, NS and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Ruth (Freeman) Teal. Evelyn spent the greater part of her life in Saint John and was a member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Society. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Wanda Lenentine and one son, Wendell Lenentine, both of Saint John; One brother, Jack Blakney of Dartmouth, NS; one sister, Elizabeth Lewis (Roy) of Bridgewater, NS and a niece, Sharon Corkum (Everette) of Bridgewater, NS.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception at Brenan's Reception Centre. Private family interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
