Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 25, 2010, Edward W. Pike of Harbour Grace, age 76 years. Predeceased by, 1st wife: Ena V.; parents: Eugene and Bertha: grandson: James Seguin; sister: Louise Mosdell; brothers: Clayton, Gerald and Arthur. Left to mourn, wife: Gertrude; two daughters: Yvonne (Kenneth) Parsons, Harbour Grace South and Nancy (Neil) Branton, St. John's; one step-daughter: Deborah (Walter) Linthorne, Upper Island Cove; one son: Bruce, St. John's; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother: Cyril (Mae), Bay Roberts; three brothers-in-law: Oscar Mosdell, Bay Roberts, Eric (Gloria) Bishop, Gander and William (Daphne) Bishop, Coley's Point; one sister-in-law: Marjorie Pike, Grand Bank; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Linda Burt conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, July 27 at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
