1921-2010
Alvina Babineau, 89, of Villa Providence, Shediac, and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away at the Villa Providence on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 after a brief illness.
She was married to the late Albert Babineau (1983).
Born in Richibucto-Village on January 10th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Georges and the late Julie (Richard) Thibodeau.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Georges, of Moncton; her sister, Rosie Mercure, of Shippagan; and a special friend, Mario.
Alvina was predeceased by one son, Joseph, in infancy; and by her brother, Léo.
Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Slumber Room on Monday, August 2nd, 2010 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 2nd, 2010 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Alvina's memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Church.
