Of Paradise, formerly of Leading Tickles. Passed peacefully away on Monday, May 25th, 2009 at The Miller Centre-Palliative Care, in her 83rd year, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by husband John (Jack), son Everett (Ed), brothers Burt and Henry, sister-in-law Gladys, brothers-in-law Don, Herb and Matt, grandson-in-law Terry, infant great-grandchildren Daniel and Matthew.
Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted family, daughters Nellie (Allen) Bedford, Sandra (Ray) Lafleur, Gail (Dave) Noseworthy, son Chris (Debbie), daughter-in-law Judy. Survived by 17 grandchildren: Corinne, Jackie (Martin), Dwayne (Jennifer), Susan, Shelley (Peter), Stephen (Nancy), Raymond (Laurie), Rick (Renee), Maurice (Kim), Angelique (Joe), Tammy (Nick), Troy (Erika), Krystal, Melissa, Jonathan, Amber, Austin, Great-Grandchildren Bradley, Stephanie, Samantha, Aaron, Joel, Myles, Kalem, Delano, Sarah, Brett, Kaitlin, Robert, Maconaughay, Kai, Brittany, Courtney, Judith, Danielle, Denny, Timothy, Shawn, Ryan, Kasandra, Michael, Kaytlyn, Jacob, sisters: Lene, Phoebe, Joan (Eugene), Janet (Will); Brother Baxter (Madeline); sister-in-law Hilda; brother-in-law Ellis; also a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the nurses of St. Clare’s 4th floor West and staff of Palliative Care, Miller Centre, as well as Reverend Peter Young and Reverend John Paul Westin for their many visits. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00-12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday May 28th, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Thomas’ Church, Military Road. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations made to Daffodil Place in her memory.
