It is with great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of Philip Kavanagh at the age of 54 on July 31st, 2010 at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, NL. Predeceased by his parents John and Dora Kavanagh and brother Hubert. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Lol (Butler), daughter Deborah (granddaughter Cassy), son Philip (Kim and soon to be granddaughter Neveah), stepchildren Lisa (grandson Daniel), Gerald (grandchildren Savanna, Chase, Braddan), brothers: Jack (Carmel), Kevin (Leen), Bill (Linda), Andrew?(Alice), Bren (Kathleen), Carl (Elizabeth), Allan (Elaine). Sisters: Madonna (Gerald Porter), Helen (Ray Neville), Rose (Mike Tobin), Margaret (Phil Dalton), Debbie (Dave Greeley). Also a large number of nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Monday, August 2nd from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd at 2 p.m. from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Parish on Bell Island. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, the Front, Bell Island.
