T. Allison Steeves, 95, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Steeves Mountain, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday July 31, 2010. Born in Steeves Mountain, he was the son of the late Judson and Enid (Johnson) Steeves. Allison was a retired farmer, an active member of Steeves Mountain Baptist Church, a former deacon and served his church in various capacities in past years. Allison will be sadly missed by his daughter, Janice Brown, Steeves Mountain; son, Brian (Leslie), Steeves Mountain; grandchildren, Angela Brown, Allison, NB, Sarah Anne Steeves and Joshua Steeves, both of Steeves Mountain; sister, Willa Steeves, Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his wife, Audrey Louise (Cain) Steeves (February 2007); son, Wayne; brother, Hubert.
No visitation by personal request. Celebration of Life Service for Allison to be held at Steeves Mountain Baptist Church, Steeves Mountain (Homestead Road), Thursday, August 5, 2010, 4:00pm. Rev. Rick Thomas officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
